A project by: Studio GISTO (Alessandro Mason, Pietro Lora, Alice Cazzolato) /
Client: Het Nieuwe Instituut
Part of the 23a Triennale di Milano Unknown Unknowns we designed a site specific installation for the exhibition “Have we met? humans and non-humans on common ground” contribution by the Het Nieuwe Instituut curated by Klaas Kuitenbrouwer and Ellen Zoete.
Our contribution is an instrument of dialogue between the Triennale garden and the exhibition inside, the installation extends from one of the columns of the building, on the side facing the garden, we designed it for the project : Deep Steward by Ian Ingram and Theun Karelse, an iteration of an AI programme that develops its own logic for categorizing the living environment it observes through a camera.
