Cantiere Aperto is a collective and collaborative practice of transforming urban space, born from the research of Frantoio Sociale and Hypereden
In 2022, a fountain was built in the Lea Garofalo community garden in Milan, in collaboration with the association Giardini in Transito: a symbolic element and at the same time a place of aggregation.
The project explores the relationship between design, sustainability, sociality and participation, seeking to develop interventions that focus on the community and the environment. Through open workshops and the direct involvement of citizens, it promotes self-construction as tools for dialogue, a sense of belonging and care for the environment.
During the Festival Concentrico 2023 in Logroño, elements were made in collaboration with Esposkate to be placed in the square during events and skate tournaments, providing the public with information on the construction process and sustainability issues.
In Turin (2024) we built a bestiary of recomposable street furniture for readers and listeners to be used at the Cecchi Point neighbourhood house and at the Marc Chagall kindergarten
