Following our initial project for Parco Gallery, completed in 2024, we returned to Via Zuretti, now Frakas Studio, to oversee a new phase of the project.The project arose from the need to create a dedicated space for production: a home for the neighbourhood’s new Risograph printer, but also a venue for workshops, laboratories and collaborative working sessions.

The structure consists of four bookcases that serve both as load-bearing elements and as storage units for books, paper and work tools. Above them, a lightweight roof defines a new room without disrupting the continuity of the space, allowing light to pass through and maintaining an open connection with the rest of the studio. Four screens allow the workshop’s layout to be adapted as required, transforming into walls, partitions and supports for displaying prints and posters. The space can thus shift from a workshop to a small classroom for workshops, and even become part of the studio’s overall layout.
