We produce more waste on a global scale than any previous civilisation; at the same time, extractive activity – which has multiplied over the last century – shows no sign of stopping; on the contrary, it is increasing. An enormous mass of material is discarded, becoming a problem, whilst an equally enormous quantity of resources is extracted every day. The Residui project explores a possible new path, one that looks in the opposite and contrary direction, and which propels us towards a possible alternative future.

Once at their destination, the containers open up and, through simple rotations and assembly, are transformed into exhibition modules, capable of adapting to any possible condition, contracting and expanding according to the available space, becoming a truly lightweight and modular infrastructure that both houses and displays.
